St Pete Beach Weddings

If you're thinking about having a wedding on St Pete Beach or even Clearwater Beach you might want to consider this...there is a little gem right next to St Pete Beach that is perfect for Weddings on the Beach. Sunset Beach is one of my favorite beaches to recommend for small, intimate Beach Weddings. It's located in a residential area of Treasure Island away from the hotels, tourists, and the unsightly blue and yellow umbrellas so commonly found in front of the hotels along St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach. It offers so much more than sand and surf. Of course it has beautiful white sand but, with the added bonus of boardwalks with bridges leading out to the beach, a rock jetty, and the most amazing sunsets. There are just so many places to take beautiful wedding pictures on this Beach! I love the variety that our photographers from Booray Perry Photography get when working with a Bride and Groom for their Sunset Beach Wedding.

Here's a little tip for those of you that want to add a little tradition to your Beach Wedding. If you imagine the Bride making a grand entrance then the bridges on the boardwalk allow you to do just that. The boardwalk that leads up to the bridge is hidden behind the Sea Grapes that are planted all along it so the Groom will not see the Bride until she comes up and over the little bridge. You can see an example of what I am talking about in this next picture. I always love to watch the expression of a groom as he sees his Bride for the first time. There is just something so sweet about it.
